Finally got round to sorting and publishing the photos we took at Vancouver last week. This time, Aperture really helped me out with the workflow and quick processing. Love the program pictures here!
Aperture is like instant s*x… everything looks nice and pretty… anyway remember to use fill flash outdoors when you are taking picture of people with a nice background. Usually, the dyanmic range is too big for your camera to capture and you either overexpose the clouds to get your face nicely exposed or you get a black face with a nice background. Firing the flash will balance the exposure of both your subjects and your background to within a proper range for your camer to capture… in fact during sunset or sunrise, try purposely underexposing the background (EV -1 1/3 while FEC set to 0) so the background becomes dark while the your subject (tianlin) remains nice and bright… make your girl girl pop out of the photos!!!
Very nice!!!
